Uchee Creek Campground

Located along the Chattahoochee River on the Alabama side of Fort Benning, this 385-acre outdoor recreation area offers a wide range of lodging and camping options in a scenic riverside setting. Accommodations include RV sites, tent camping areas, cabins, and chalet-style lodging, along with various recreational amenities throughout the property. The park features dedicated recreation spaces, rental facilities, a full-service marina for boating and fishing, and trails for exploring the natural surroundings. It serves military ID card holders as well as families visiting Fort Benning for graduation ceremonies, Family Day events, or other official activities. In addition to the riverside campground, Uchee Creek also manages lodging on the main Fort Benning installation. This includes the 10-unit McIver Suites complex and the Marshall House. These accommodations provide convenient access to on-post dining, entertainment venues, the golf course, commissary, package store, and the Post Exchange, offering a comfortable option for guests who prefer to stay closer to the center of post activities.
