Tyndall AFB FamCamp

Overview

Tyndall FamCamp is situated along Florida’s Emerald Coast, just east of the DuPont Bridge on Highway 98. The campground is positioned outside the main installation security gate but remains on Tyndall Air Force Base property, offering convenient access without having to pass through the primary base perimeter. The campground features 118 total RV spaces. Of those, 100 are full hook-up sites equipped with water, sewer, and electric service (20, 30, and 50 amp), along with cable TV. Each full-hookup site includes a concrete pad and a picnic table. An additional 18 overflow sites are available with water, sewer, and electric service (20, 30, and 50 amp). Overflow spaces are gravel and do not include cable. Reservations for both RV sites and cabins may be made up to 180 days in advance. Guests may request stays of up to 90 days, depending on availability. A one-night reservation fee is collected at the time of booking and is applied toward the total stay upon arrival. This booking fee is non-refundable in the event of cancellation.

1. Call ahead for reservations and access requirements.
2. Military ID is required for entry. We welcome Active Duty, Retirees, and Disabled Veterans.
3. Patrolled 24/7 by Air force Security Forces we have onsite camp hosts to handle after hours and weekend arrivals.
