Military RV Sites is an independent directory of military campgrounds, FamCamps, and RV parks across the United States. We built it because military families deserve a reliable, up-to-date place to plan a trip — not a list of stale links or guesses. We are not affiliated with the Department of Defense or any branch of the U.S. military; we’re an independent resource built by and for the community.
Our Verification Standard
Every listing on this site is checked against real, current sources before it’s published — official installation MWR pages, direct contact with campground offices, and cross-referencing across multiple independent sources. We don’t publish a listing just because it appears on someone else’s list; if we can’t confirm a facility is real and currently operating, it doesn’t go live.
Each listing carries one of the following statuses, shown on its detail page:
- ✓ Verified — Confirmed accurate through direct research, cross-referenced sources, or firsthand confirmation. This is the large majority of active listings on the site.
- ↻ Recently Updated — Refreshed within the last several months to confirm details are still current.
- ◌ Verification in Progress — Newly added and undergoing our standard confirmation process. We’d rather flag a listing as still-in-progress than publish incomplete or unconfirmed information as if it were final.
We also show the approximate date each listing was last checked, so you always know how fresh the information is — not just a vague “recently verified” claim, but a real date tied to that specific facility.
What We Check
Before a listing goes live or gets updated, we confirm:
- The facility currently exists and is operating (not just announced, planned, or historically referenced)
- Contact information, location, and base affiliation are accurate
- Amenities, restrictions, and eligibility details reflect the facility’s actual current offerings — not generic assumptions
- The listing isn’t a duplicate of another facility already on the site
Rates, availability, and reservation policies change often and are set by each installation, not by us — we always recommend confirming those details directly with the facility before you travel.
Corrections & Feedback
Spot something wrong, outdated, or missing? Tell us. Military families who’ve actually stayed at these locations are one of our best sources for keeping listings accurate, and we review every report.
