Leitner Lake Recreation Complex
Overview
Leitner Lake Recreation Complex sits on Fort Eisenhower (formerly Fort Gordon) in Grovetown, Georgia, managed by the installation's Outdoor Recreation program. It runs 35 full hook-up campsites with 30/50 amp electric, water, and sewer. Each site comes with a picnic table and grill. A primitive camping area with lake frontage is also on hand for those who want something simpler. The comfort station has restrooms, showers, and washer/dryers. A pavilion with 12 picnic tables rents for $75 per day. Reservations are required for campsites — walk-ins are not the play here. Office hours run Tuesday through Friday, 10:00am–6:00pm, and Saturday 9:00am–5:00pm; the office is closed Sunday and Monday. Call (706) 791-5078 to book or confirm current access requirements before you roll in.
