Vandenberg SFB FamCamp
Overview
Vandenberg FamCamp sits on Vandenberg Space Force Base near Lompoc on California's Central Coast, run by the base Outdoor Recreation center. It offers about 49 full-hookup RV sites — roughly 20 roomy blacktop pull-throughs with concrete patios plus 29 back-in sites — along with a fenced tent area and around 19–20 dry-camp overflow spots. The sought-after pull-through sites include picnic tables and barbecue grills. Electrical service is 50-amp, so bring an adapter if your rig is 30-amp. On-site are restrooms, showers, laundry, and lounges; the base offers a commissary, exchange, and dining. Don't miss the on-base beaches at Wall Beach and Minuteman Beach. All RVs must enter through the Lompoc gate. Summer weather here is famously mild.
