Cedar Park Camping Area is a long-term camping area at McAlester Army Ammunition Plant in McAlester, Oklahoma. It sits outside the installation's main gate, so access is straightforward for authorized patrons. Sites include water, sewer, and electricity — 50-amp service is available. Pricing runs $300 for a campsite only (50 amp) or $500 for a campsite with a furnished camper. McAlester AAP is one of the Army's primary ammunition production installations, so this isn't a resort-style FamCamp — it's a practical, no-frills option for those with a reason to be in the area long-term. Office hours run Monday through Thursday 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; closed weekends and federal holidays.
