Overview
Bay View Cottages & RV Park (also called Navy Getaways Point Loma) sits right on San Diego Bay at Naval Base Point Loma, with spectacular views of the downtown skyline, the harbor lights, and passing boats — across from historic Liberty Station and about 4–5 miles from downtown San Diego. It's an unbeatable location just 5 minutes from the airport and close to the San Diego Zoo, SeaWorld, Balboa Park, and the USS Midway. The RV Park is a converted bayfront lot where spacious spots back right up to the water — but note these are dry sites with no hookups, best suited to self-contained rigs. On-site are a full-service marina (with kayak, SUP, and sailboat rentals, sailing classes, and guest boat slips), a small beach for launching kayaks, bike paths, and marina restrooms and showers. Two beautifully appointed one- and two-bedroom cottages with full kitchens, cable TV, and WiFi are also available. Liberty Station across the street has groceries, restaurants, and more.

Important Info
RV sites have NO hookups (no electric, water, sewer, or on-site dump — a public dump station is about 5 miles away); best for self-contained RVs. Does not accept cash. Check-in is at the Marina, Building 606; check-in times are strictly enforced. Leashed pets allowed in the RV area (fees/restrictions may apply) but NOT in the cottages.
