Seymour Johnson AFB FamCamp
Overview
Seymour Johnson AFB FamCamp is a small, wooded campground on Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in Goldsboro, North Carolina, offering around two dozen sites — most full hookup — tucked away from the bustle of the base but still within easy walking distance of the Exchange and Commissary. It's a quiet, budget-friendly stop popular with travelers passing through eastern North Carolina, with reviewers consistently calling out the low nightly rate and peaceful setting. Goldsboro itself is modest for entertainment, but the base sits near a mall, chain restaurants, and a couple of local brewpubs.
