Eagle Hammock RV Park
Overview
Eagle Hammock RV Park sits on 220 acres inside Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, a submarine force installation on the Georgia coast. The park runs 70 RV sites total — a mix of pull-through and back-in pads, including lakefront positions on Lake D. Every site comes with full hook-ups: water, sewer, electric, and cable. Cement pads, picnic tables, fire rings, and free laundry round out the setup. A community building with a full kitchen and bathhouse is on-site, and a camp host is available around the clock. The surrounding area gives you options. Historic downtown St. Marys is close, Cumberland Island National Seashore is nearby, and I-95 puts Georgia's Golden Isles and Savannah within reach. Firearms are not permitted on base and cannot be stored by Security. Off-base storage is available at T&C Pawn World, 725 Kings Bay Road, St. Marys — call (912) 673-6555. Firearms not permitted on base or storable by Security; off-base storage available via a local pawn shop. Reservations up to 1 year for active duty/reservists, 6 months for retirees/DoD civilians. Open to active duty, National Guard, Reservists, retired military, 0–100% DAV, Purple Heart recipients, veteran caregivers, DoD civilians, and sponsored guests (Apr–Oct only).
