Uchee Creek Campground & Marina
Overview
Uchee Creek Campground and Marina is a 385-acre MWR recreational park sitting on the Alabama side of Fort Moore (formerly Fort Benning), addressed at 7 Uchee Creek Road, Fort Mitchell, AL. RV sites come with full hook-ups — 30 and 50 amp electric, water, sewer, and cable — plus a grill and fire pit at each site. The park also has cabins, chalets, and tent sites, so it draws a wide mix of visitors, including families attending Infantry and armor graduations at Fort Moore. Three comfort stations provide showers, toilets, and coin-operated laundry. A country store stocks camping and fishing supplies, and the marina offers a boat launch and fishing access on the Chattahoochee River. Pet-friendly accommodations are available — request them at booking and expect a pet fee. Access is limited to Active Duty, Retirees, dependents with a military ID, DoD civilians, and families attending official Fort Moore ceremonies. Certain veterans with service-connected disabilities, Purple Heart recipients, and former POWs may also qualify — confirm eligibility when you call. Reservations require a one-night deposit by credit card. Reach the office at (706) 545-4053 or (706) 545-2063 and verify current rates and availability before you roll in.
