Aviation Arbor RV Park
Overview
Aviation Arbor RV Park sits on NAS JRB New Orleans in Belle Chasse, Louisiana — a joint reserve base about ten miles south of the city. The park has 45 RV sites on concrete pads with water, sewer, and 30/50 amp electric service. A bathhouse, on-site laundry, and complimentary Wi-Fi round out the basics. Stay limits depend on your status. Active duty and DoD civilians working on the installation can stay up to 180 consecutive days. Retirees are capped at 30 consecutive days. Reservations open 12 months out for active duty and 6 months out for retirees and DoD civilians. The office runs Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, and is closed weekends and holidays. Important Info
Full-hookup concrete-pad sites about 12 miles from downtown New Orleans; enter through the Barriere Road gate. Reservations accepted, first night paid in advance; retired/DoD can book up to 6 months ahead. Mail not accepted at the campground — use local General Delivery. Retirees not permitted to use base dining facilities. The only remaining military campground in the New Orleans area — books up fast for Mardi Gras. Call (504) 678-3500 to reserve.
