Lake Tholocco Lodging & Campground
Overview
Engineer Beach RV Park sits at the end of West Beach Road on Fort Novosel (formerly Fort Rucker) in Alabama, right alongside 676.8-acre Lake Tholocco. The park runs 18 long-term sites and 30 short-term sites, each with a 40-foot concrete slab, water, and 25, 30, or 50 amp electric hookups. Four tent sites and one yurt round out the options. WiFi, laundry, and a dump station are available, and the lake offers solid fishing. The Army Aviation Museum and Silver Wings Golf Club are close by on the installation. Access is open to military (active and retired) and DoD civilians. General public visitors require sponsorship by an authorized patron. Reservations can be made up to 6 months in advance by phone or in person — not by email.
