Overview
Beale AFB FamCamp sits on rolling foothills next to Lower Blackwelder Lake on Beale Air Force Base near Marysville, in California's Gold Country north of Sacramento. This award-winning FamCamp offers 44 full-hookup sites with 20/30/50-amp service, arranged in compact cul-de-sac circles, accommodating RVs up to 45 feet, plus large, private dry-camping sites. The FamCamp Center has a lounge, kitchenette, restrooms with showers, and laundry. It's a quiet, natural setting popular for birdwatching and fishing at the lake, and a strategic, affordable stop for travelers heading toward Lake Tahoe. Beale is home to U-2 reconnaissance aircraft, a treat for aviation enthusiasts.

Important Info
RVs must enter through the Wheatland Gate only (off Hwy 65 and S. Beale Rd). Open to active-duty, retired military, DoD civilians, and sponsored guests. Reservations accepted up to 45 days in advance; stays under 7 days are first-come, first-served. Two-week maximum stay, extendable based on space, up to 120 days per year.
