Point Mugu Beach Hotel & RV Park
Overview
The RV Park at Naval Base Ventura County – Point Mugu sits right on the beach, with 85 back-in sites handling RVs up to 40 feet. Sites come with full hook-ups; 50-amp rigs get water, electric, and limited sewer connections. Each site has a picnic table and fire pit, and two shower houses serve the park. Note: the RV Park is temporarily closed for renovations and is scheduled to reopen in February 2026. Beyond the RV sites, the property includes a Beach Hotel, yurts, beach campsites, and two beachfront cabins — the cabins book fast, so reserve early. Check-in happens at the front desk of Bldg. 74 during daily hours of 10 am–6 pm. After-hours check-in requires contacting the RV Park Host directly. Reservations require an MWR ID card. Active Duty can book up to one year out; all other eligible guests get a six-month window. Front desk staff are available at (805) 989-8407 or (805) 989-5413 during working hours. RV Park underwent renovation with a planned Feb 2026 reopening — confirm current status before booking. 71–85 back-in full-hookup sites plus 16 primitive tent sites and 2 beach cabins.
