Tinker AFB FamCamp sits on Tinker Air Force Base in southeast Oklahoma City, a quiet, convenient basecamp for the OKC area. It offers 28 full-hookup sites with 50-amp (and 30-amp) electric, water, and sewer on level concrete pads, each with a picnic table and assigned parking, accommodating RVs up to 40 feet, plus tent camping. On-site are a bathhouse with laundry and a stocked fishing pond with a dock, and a base gas station/shoppette is walkable right next door. Nearby OKC attractions include the Oklahoma City National Memorial and the Land Run Monument, and the base is adjacent to small reservoirs with walking trails. Camp hosts Linda and her husband get consistent praise for keeping it clean and well run.
