Camp Meade RV Park
Overview
Camp Meade RV Park sits on Fort Meade in Maryland, roughly midway between Baltimore, Annapolis, and Washington, DC. The park runs year-round and offers 50 RV and camper sites with full hook-ups — 30/50 amp electric, water, and sewer on every site. Hardstands run 60 feet deep, and three sites are built for handicap access. Camper cabins are also available. The surrounding area has fishing, boating, and shopping within a short drive, and a public train station into Baltimore and DC is one mile away. Support facilities on the installation include laundry, showers, a playground, picnic areas, and more. Pets are welcome at RV sites with leash rules and shot records required at check-in — but not in the cabins. Reservations are by phone or in person at the Outdoor Recreation Branch. The phone lines don't support voicemail, so use the email option if you can't reach someone during office hours, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. A valid DoD ID or sponsor is required for access. Call (301) 677-6196 to book and confirm current rates and availability before you head out.
