Rocking K RV Park
Overview
Rockin' K RV Park sits on Naval Air Station Kingsville in south Texas, operated by MWR. There are 25 RV sites total — five of them pull-through — with full hook-ups including 30 and 50 amp electric, water, and sewer. Each site has a covered picnic area with a table. Three separate tent camping areas are also available. The park is pet-friendly. On-site you'll find laundry, restrooms, and showers. Complimentary Wi-Fi is included. A community room at the Auto Skills Building has Dish TV, board games, books, and a video game system. A playground, the Santiago Fitness Center, a swimming pool, a running track, and a turf field are all within walking distance. The Club nearby houses a bowling center, a bar, and a restaurant. Access is open to Active Duty military and retirees; civilians are not eligible through MWR Guest Cards. Reservations can be made online or by phone through the Station Library. Important Info
Small park (~13-25 sites depending on expansion phase), all now with sewer/water/30-amp, some 50-amp. Mix of extended-stay (up to 6 months) and short-term (1-30 day) sites. Visitor passes required at the main gate — office hours limited (closed weekends/holidays), so plan gate arrival accordingly. Camp host on-site 24/7. Open to active duty, National Guard, Reservists, retired military, 0–100% DAV, Purple Heart recipients, veteran caregivers, and DoD civilians. Call the base MWR office to reserve.
