Remington Park RV Campground
Overview
Remington Park RV Campground is Fort Drum's premier recreation area, on the shores of scenic Remington Pond in far northern New York — near Watertown and within reach of the Thousand Islands and the St. Lawrence River. Open seasonally (May through October), the campground offers large drive-through full-hookup RV sites (20/30/50-amp, water, sewer) that accommodate rigs of any size, plus lean-tos, tent sites, and 21 rental cabins and cottages on nearby Pine Lane. The real draw is the park itself: a sandy beach with swimming, paddle boats and kayaks, catch-and-release fishing docks, wilderness hiking and biking trails, playgrounds, volleyball, horseshoes, and five large pavilions for group events. It's a peaceful lakeside escape and a solid base for exploring the North Country. Note there's no WiFi or cable at RV sites (a Verizon jetpack is rentable from the office).
