Eglin AFB FamCamp - Camp Robbins
Overview
Camp Robbins is the newer of Eglin Air Force Base's two campgrounds, located on Shambo Cove off Memorial Trail in the Florida Panhandle near Niceville. It offers 60 full-hookup sites with water, sewer, and electric (50/30-amp), on gravel pads with a concrete square and picnic table at each — 45 pull-through and 15 back-in. There are also 14 tent sites with water hookup. On-site you'll find a bath house and a coin-operated laundry room with washers and dryers. A camp host stays at Site #1. The campground is a short walk to the water and close to Fort Walton Beach, Destin, and the Gulf Coast's beaches. A valid military ID is required for base access.

Important Info
Reservations required — call (850) 883-1243. Open to active duty, retirees, DoD civilians, National Guard, Reserves, and eligible guests. Expect occasional jet noise from base operations, and dirt access roads can be muddy in wet weather. Stay limits apply. Always confirm current rates, availability, and reservation windows with the FamCamp office before you travel.
