Glass Park RV Campground
Overview
Glass Park RV Campground sits inside Fort Wainwright's perimeter in Fairbanks, Alaska, operated by USAG Alaska MWR. There are 20 RV sites with electric and water hookups, plus 3 tent sites that have no hookups. The Outdoor Recreation Building is the hub for the campground — showers are under its front awning and are included with your site rental, and a coin-op laundry is on-site. A dump station and a boat launch on the river round out the practical amenities. Fort Wainwright is an Army installation that serves as a key hub for Arctic warfare training, so the surrounding Alaskan terrain is the real draw. The campground also has a Frisbee golf course and pavilion rentals available. 38 sites (some full hookup 20/30/50 amp, some electric/water only, some dry) on the Chena River, open May (after snowmelt) through September (first frost). 30-day stay limit, except for active duty PCS-ing in/out.
