Overview

JBSA Recreation Park at Canyon Lake is a lakeside retreat about 45 miles north of San Antonio in the Texas Hill Country, run by Joint Base San Antonio. It combines two former recreation areas (the old Randolph "Sunny Side" and Fort Sam Houston sides) and offers around 24 full-hookup RV sites plus electric-only sites, on concrete pads with picnic tables, grills, and (on the Fort Sam side) shade covers — along with 82 cabins and 200+ general camping sites.
