Pelican Roost RV Park
Overview
Pelican Roost RV Park sits on Naval Station Mayport in Jacksonville, Florida, right where the St. Johns River meets the Atlantic. MWR operates two RV parks on the installation; this one is the waterfront option. Sites come with electric, sewer, water, cable TV, and WiFi, and the single nightly fee also covers laundry and access to the park clubhouse. Stay limits here depend on which type of site you book. Waterfront sites cap at 14 days; back-in sites allow up to 30 days. The entire park is smoke-free in all public areas. NS Mayport is an active fleet installation, so you'll need base access to get in — verify your eligibility before you book. Office hours run Monday through Friday 9 AM to 5 PM, Saturday through Sunday and holidays 9 AM to 4 PM. Reservations go through dodlodging.net. Important Info
Waterfront pull-through sites: 14-day max stay. Back-in sites: 30-day max stay (long-term stays available at sister park Osprey Cove, 180-day max). Max 2 reservations per ID (sponsor + guest). Sponsored civilian guests need clearance from the Workstation Office. Open to active duty, National Guard, Reservists, retired military, 0–100% DAV, Purple Heart recipients, former POWs, NAF/DoD civilians, and sponsored guests. Call (904) 270-7808/7809 to reserve.
