Desert Eagle RV Park
Overview
Desert Eagle RV Park is one of the largest and best-reviewed military campgrounds in the country, located on Nellis Air Force Base in North Las Vegas. With 226 total sites — the vast majority full hookup — plus dog parks, laundry, showers, and strong Wi-Fi, it's a consistently popular stop for RVers passing through or basing themselves in the Las Vegas area. The park has two distinct sections: an older, more spacious "wagon wheel" layout with mature shade trees, and a newer paved section with tighter, more standard RV-park-style spacing. It's also significantly cheaper and, by most accounts, considerably safer and better-maintained than the civilian RV parks near the Las Vegas Strip.

Important Info
Open only to DoD ID cardholders and retirees. Firearms must be checked in with the base armory — not allowed in the RV park itself. Stay limit is 6 months, after which campers must leave for 30 days.
