Shields RV Park
Overview
Shields RV Park sits on Naval Construction Battalion Center Gulfport, a Mississippi Gulf Coast installation home to the Navy Seabees. The main section, off 9th Street near the Pass Road Gate, runs 103 sites total — 53 pull-throughs and 50 back-ins. Electric service, water, sewer, coin-op laundry, Wi-Fi, ADA bathrooms and showers, and a dump station are all on hand. A second area, Shields RV Park West Perimeter Road, puts you within walking distance of Seabee Lake, a dog park, The Grill, a batting cage, and the Navy Community Recreation Outdoor Rental Center. NCBC Gulfport sits roughly 80 miles east of New Orleans and 75 miles west of Mobile, keeping you in reach of the Gulf Coast's casinos, festivals, and waterfront. Office hours run Monday through Saturday 10 AM–4 PM and Sunday 10 AM–2 PM; holiday hours are listed as TBA. Important Info
103 full-hookup sites (40-ft concrete pads, up to 45-ft RVs, 20/30/50 amp) split between two areas: RVPT/RV40 near the main gate, and ARV40 on the west side near Seabee Lake. Trucks, vans, SUVs, and other non-RV vehicles are not permitted in the park. Firearms must be stored at the base armory (Bldg. 436) for the full stay — not permitted inside RVs.
