Kirtland AFB FamCamp
Overview
Kirtland AFB FamCamp is a large, well-established campground on Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque, New Mexico, with 70 sites split between older shaded sites and a newer stone-pad section, plus 14 cabins. Sites accommodate big rigs up to 40 feet with room for two vehicles, and the campground alternates RV orientations so hookup connections don't face neighboring units. Amenities include a dog park and washing station, coin laundry, and both original and newer bathhouse facilities. It's a secure, gated stop close to Sandia Peak and Old Town Albuquerque, and one of the larger, more full-featured FamCamps in the Southwest.
