Holbrook Recreation Area
Overview
Holbrook Recreation Area sits just outside the installation gates at Fort Stewart, Georgia — home of the 3rd Infantry Division. The RV campground runs 30 sites total. Sites 1–19 offer water and 30/50 amp electric. Sites 20–30 add sewer for full hook-up. Rates for Active Duty, Retirees, DoD Civilians, and 100% Disabled Veterans run $27 per night for water/electric and $30 per night for full hook-up. Golden Age and America the Beautiful pass holders pay $22 and $25 respectively. Monthly rates are $650 for sites 1–19 and $800 for sites 20–30. Maximum stay is 30 days. Amenities on the RV side include 30/50 amp electric, picnic tables, a dump station, grills, fire pits, and a bath house. Fishing is available year-round at Holbrook Pond and nearby waters — a Georgia fishing license and a Fort Stewart permit are both required. The area also has a playground. Reservations open up to 30 days out and require a one-day deposit. Check-in happens at Bldg. 8325 during normal hours; after hours, go directly to your site and square up the next morning. Call to confirm current availability and access requirements before you head out.
