White Sands Missle Range RV Park
Overview
The RV Travel Camp at White Sands Missile Range sits on an Army installation in White Sands, New Mexico — the home of one of the nation's premier weapons testing ranges. Sites accommodate rigs from 40 to 60 feet. Standard sites include electric (110/220V with 15, 30, and 50-amp service), sewer, and water hookups at $20 per day. Overflow sites run $15 per day and offer electric only. Each standard site comes with a canopy, picnic table, and grill. Overflow sites do not include those extras. Access is open to active duty, active National Guard and Reserve, retirees, DoD civilians (active and retired), dependents, and contractors with a WSMR affiliation. Reservations are required and can be made up to 30 days out. Pets are allowed on leash with current vaccination records. No tents, no boon-docking, and no car camping. Small — 8 full-hookup pull-through sites, no dedicated dump station on-site. Max stay 21 days out of every 60 (extensions possible). Reservations required at least 30 days ahead. Open to active duty, National Guard, Reservists, retired military, 0–100% DAV, Purple Heart recipients, veteran caregivers, DoD civilians, and contractors working on post.
