Peregrine Pines FamCamp
Overview
Peregrine Pines FamCamp sits on the grounds of the U.S. Air Force Academy at about 7,000 feet, tucked into a wooded area with views of the Front Range north of Colorado Springs. The campground offers 105 gravel sites with full hookups (water, sewer, and 20/30/50-amp electric) plus 10 tent sites, and accommodates RVs up to 45 feet with many pull-throughs. Water pressure runs high here, so a pressure regulator is strongly recommended. On-site you'll find laundry, restrooms with hot showers, a dump station, a playground, and propane. It's a short drive to Garden of the Gods and the recreation on base, including the Eisenhower golf course. A valid DoD ID is required for base access.

Important Info
105 RV + 10 tent sites.Open to DoD ID cardholders, including disabled veterans eligible since 2020. Firearms must be declared at entry to the Academy and secured. Reservations: 90 days ahead for active duty, 60 days for retirees, DoD civilians, and other eligible users. Office is seasonal (roughly April–October); reservations aren't accepted during the off-season. Call (719) 333-4980 to book.
