Hanscom AFB FamCamp
Overview
Hanscom AFB FamCamp is a year-round RV and tent campground about three miles from Hanscom Air Force Base in Bedford, Massachusetts, run by the 66th Force Support Squadron. It's one of the larger New England FamCamps, with 73 RV sites and 10 tent sites available in the summer season, scaling down to 32 full-service, winterized sites when it gets cold. Amenities include an outdoor pavilion, a recreation room in Hartigan Hall, Wi-Fi, on-site propane, coin-operated laundry, and two bathhouses, plus access to hiking and rail trails. The campground sits just 15 miles west of Boston and close to the historic towns of Lexington and Concord, making it a convenient base for exploring the area or watching planes take off from the adjacent flightline.

Important Info
The FamCamp office relocates to the Outdoor Recreation Building (Bldg. 1530) from November 15 through May 1 each year. No playground or off-leash dog area on-site, though pets are welcome.
