Dobbins ARB FamCamp
Overview
Dobbins ARB FamCamp (Dobbins Lakeside) sits on Dobbins Air Reserve Base in Marietta, in the northern Atlanta metro — a convenient, quiet base for exploring the city. It offers 17 spacious back-in sites with 30-amp electric and water hookups (no pull-throughs, no sewer at sites, but a dump station is located between sites 5 and 8). The heavily wooded setting is peaceful, though rigs over 35 feet fit only a few sites. On-site are a clean bathhouse with showers, free laundry, and a small lake. Campers have access to the base Exchange (with a Subway). The campground is 1.3 miles from the main gate, which is open 24/7. Two primitive camping cabins were being added in 2026.

Important Info
30-amp electric only, no sewer hookups at sites (dump station available). Rigs over 35 feet are limited to a few sites. A camp host is on-site May 15–September 15. If arriving after 4:00 PM, call base security to have the entry bollards moved. Military ID required. Reservations recommended — call the ITT office at (678) 655-4797.
