Sigsbee Park
Overview
Sigsbee Military RV Park, part of Navy Getaways at Naval Air Station Key West, is a waterfront military campground offering Gulf views and convenient access to downtown Key West. The main Sigsbee Park location sits roughly three miles from the historic district, placing guests within easy reach of restaurants, attractions, and island activities while still staying on base property.
The campground system spans three annex areas: Sigsbee Park, Truman Annex, and Trumbo Point. Across these locations, guests will find a combination of full hook-up RV sites and dry camping spaces.
Site Options
Sigsbee Park (Main Annex)
This area includes both “Deluxe” and “Regular” sites. Deluxe spaces are positioned closer to the waterfront and offer open Gulf views. Regular sites are set farther inland. Both site types may be available with full utility connections or as dry camping, depending on availability. Pull-through and back-in configurations are offered.
Truman Annex
These back-in dry camping sites are located near the waterfront and within walking distance of downtown Key West. Stays at this annex are typically limited in length and must be arranged directly through the front desk. Guests use shared facilities available at other annex locations.
Trumbo Point Annex
This seasonal dry camping area operates primarily from mid-October through early May. Sites are available in pull-through and back-in layouts and provide convenient access to nearby base amenities.
Amenities & Facilities
Guests have access to on-base services including the commissary, Navy Exchange (NEX), fuel station, marina, and dog park. Bathhouses with hot showers and coin-operated laundry are available. Potable water stations and dump facilities support dry camping areas.
The campground enforces a two-pet limit per site, with certain breed restrictions in place. Cellular service and Wi-Fi availability may vary by annex.
Reservations & Stay Limits
Reservations are required and must be made through the official DoD lodging system or reservation center. Booking windows vary by eligibility category, with active-duty personnel typically able to reserve further in advance than retirees and other authorized patrons. During peak season (October through March), maximum stay limits apply.
RV Travel Advisory
When arriving with a larger rig, avoid the tight turn from Roosevelt Boulevard onto Kennedy Drive. Instead, continue south on US-1 to Flagler Avenue, turn right onto Kennedy Drive, and proceed directly to the Sigsbee Gate for easier access.
